When life gives you pumpkins you make pumpkin-aid?  Well when life gives you an D1mini and the espHome platform you make custom electronics to automate your Halloween experience.  I am a huge home automation fanatic and have been neck deep in Home Assistant for about since 2017.  Well with espHome it has made making custom devices so much easier.
