# Moss (DIY)

Looking to add moss to your next prop.  This page will show you how I make and apply moss.  Its a bit of a messy job but rewarding when the piece is done.

## Making the Moss

When it comes to making moss it is more of an art than a science.  The moss I make is primarily wood shavings and sawdust.  That mixture gives a nice texture of large and small pieces to give that mossy look.
